Broker Account Manager / Advisor Support Consultant:

£21k - £22k ApproxStarting Salary

My client, an established Financial Services company with headquarters in Basildon, Essex, is looking for someone with previous Account Management/ Business Development experience to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

To be considered for this role, you should be able to demonstrate solid account management experience within the Financial Services industry and excellent communication skills. Furthermore, you should be a competent user of Excel and be able to prioritise workloads. This is a varied and interesting role, which requires an energetic individual who is pro-active and engaging.

Reporting to the Business Partnerships Director, the position involves the following:

  • Carry out telephone based sales development 1:1s where necessary

  • Produce timely and accurate production of all sales MI required as well as adviser income forecasts, adviser and AR league tables and MI for lenders and providers.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge in all aspects of business development including:

    • New Build and Estate Agency Mortgage Broking best practice

  • Effective Sales Process

  • Coaching and Development skills

  • Marketing and Promotions

Broker Support Assistant:

£19k Approx Starting Salary

My client, a well established and growing mortgage company in Basildon is looking for an Broker Support Assistant / Administrator to join them on a full time permanent basis. To be considered for this role you will ideally have experience of the mortgage industry. Alternatively, my client would accept applications from candidates with Estate Agency / Sales Progression experience or from a Conveyancing background.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing new advisor firms from application stage, by requesting references, reviewing quality of information received, cross referencing dates, organising DBS checks, submitting FCA applications, checking qualifications, sending contracts out for completion and return, checking ID, address verification, and companies house detail.

  • Obtaining details of all Advisor's Admin Staff and ensuring the firm provides a signed declaration to confirm all mandatory file documents have been obtained.

  • Processing new introducers from application stage, requesting information needed, checking ID and approve once received.
