To conduct planning and purchasing within the Supply Chain team, ensuring that goods are bought in to maintain manufacturing and customer services high standards.


- Maintain stock levels within the bought-out fabrics (BOF), department. Ensure that the service level is maintained at the agreed rate.
- Analyse demand and set appropriate stock targets based on demand and lead-times.
- Gather quality data in relation to bought out fabrics liaising with the QA department and Strategic Purchasing Manager to help resolve supplier quality issues, to maintain quality at the highest standard.
- Monitor supplier performance ensuring that our suppliers are providing the necessary services to the company, and work with the Strategic Purchasing Manager to improve poor performers.
- Work with the Strategic Purchasing Manager to develop supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts as necessary.
- Work with the strategic Purchasing Manager and quality team to implement SRR's and collect credits for faulty goods.
- Ensure the invoice documentation is correct and that these are then passed onto the relevant department maintaining price variant records.
- Collaborate with Product Development team members to coordinate trails of BOF products to reduce costs and lead-times.
- Working with internal stakeholders to facilitate BOF goods dispatch to deliver customer commitments.

Education / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

- Administration or supply chain related qualification
- Excellent Excel skills with previous experience in analysing trends & presenting data
- Experience of working in a buying or supply chain role & dealing with suppliers
- Knowledge & understanding of yarn or fabric manufacturing is desirable
- Experience of all Microsoft packages
