We are urgently recruiting for an Accounts Clerk to work on behalf of our client, based in Lytham St Annes. This role is a temporary role with the potential to go permanent for the right person.

This role is a varied role so ideally suit someone who is confident, outgoing and willing to be flexible to suit the business needs.

Duties to include:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Sending invoices and monthly statements
  • Supporting Accountant with bank reconciliations and VAT returns
  • Managing petty cash and company fuel cards
  • Ordering stationary and supplies for the office as and when required
  • Data input and regular data cleansing to ensure accuracy
  • Maintaining Excel spreadsheets

Successful candidates will have excellent written, numerical and verbal communication skills

They will also be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of Sage Accounting essential
