Head of Fund Development - Social Investment
A challenging and dynamic opportunity for an experienced leader in social investment funding and commissioning to join an organisation investing in the future of young people.
Our client is an exciting organisation working to create opportunities for and invest in the future of young people. They have a portfolio of innovative projects, including a social investment fund, in which they award funding grants to partner organisations who will deliver strong career and engagement opportunities and programmes across the country for youth.
To further support this social funding portfolio, they are looking to appoint a strong Head of Fund Development who will lead the design, development and implementation of the investment funds and commissioning of key programmes. The role will strategically design a targeted, research-based approach to investment commissioning and the allocation of funds. Reporting to the Director of Investment, you will also manage the wider investment team to develop, plan, implement and review funding awards and allocations to a range of organisations.
To be successful in the role, you will have a strong background in one or more of the following:
- Managing social investment funds
- Complex programme management
- End-to-end grant / fund management
You will also have senior stakeholder engagement experience, and will have previously managed, mentored and developed a team. You will also have previously had experience managing large budgets.
This is a 2 year fixed term contract, remunerated at £65,000 dependent on experience.
