The Role
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Automation Solutions Sales Specialist will be responsible for order capture from the projects & accounts assigned and fulfil or exceed the budget orders target. Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify, develop and own sales opportunities through to order conversion.

Main Accountabilities
+ Sells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned by the business unit and sales & marketing manager.
+ Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/services offering, and align to provide a solution.
+ Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews and proposes recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls.
+ Creates added value for the customer and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective project pursuit and sales techniques.
+ Works with marketing function to execute efficient marketing activities and communication of value propositions to customers.
+ Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
+ Manages administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports payment collection and project management activities when needed.
+ Supports preparation of offers in coordination with the tendering team.
Key Skills
Essential
+ HND/ Degree in Electrical Engineering/ equivalent technical knowledge
+ Power transmission or communications Market/Industry experience
+ Industrial sales experience
Desirable
+ Experience of sales of the Power Systems Protection and Automation portfolio,
+ Have knowledge of the product and customer portfolio
