Responsible for the effective, efficient and accurate administration of the sales activities.

Scope and Responsibilities

* To complete pre sales activities for all repeat quotations to understand the customers’ requirements and likelihood of order placement

* To develop skills necessary to complete quotations for repeat items

* To complete follow up activities to secure orders from repeat quotations via telephone and customer visits as necessary

* To maintain and update departmental KPI’s relation to all quotation activities

* To work alongside the new business development team to understand the estimating process and develop business winning skills to allow career progression to external sales executive

* Should have customer and supplier awareness

* Engineering / Manufacturing and Logistics experience would be beneficial.

Skills and Qualifications

* Must have strong interpersonal skills including excellent communication skills, strong meeting facilitation skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment

* Must have an analytical approach to problem solving

* Able to communicate effectively internally and externally both verbally and written

* Able to meet deadlines

* Candidate must have good numeracy / literacy skills

* Must have strong IT skills (Excel, Word , PowerPoint)

* Must hold a full clean driving licence
