PMLD Specialist Teaching Assistant - Buckinghamshire

Supply Desk specialise in recruiting Teachers, Teaching Assistants and SEN Support Staff on behalf of Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools throughout Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas.

This job requires specialist experience and knowledge into Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), those with PMLD usually have significant physical and sensory impairments and sometimes communicate non-verbally.

The specialist school we are working with has a mission is to provide an outstanding quality of education and care by respecting and empowering every individual and encouraging them to be lifelong learners. The teaching team currently at the school are highly skilled and qualified in working with children with visual impairments and a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.

This position is available to start in September 2019 and is a long term role, potentially leading to a permanent position. The School is based in Buckinghamshire and is easily accessible.

Role Requirements:

Experience working with SEN children (particularly PMLD)
Teaching Assistant Qualification, Degree or relevant experience
Availability to start in September 2019
Willing to provide personal care

The hours are 8:30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
