Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Person Specification

To be considered you will need to be a personable and nurturing graduate who has practice working with children with that require extra support. You will arrive with a dedicated stance towards all pupils under your care and have a calm and willing attitude. The Primary SEN Teaching Assistant should be able to forge effective relationships quickly with staff and pupils.

Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Role

This Primary SEN Teaching Assistant position involves supporting the academic and social development a specific Year 1 boy who has Epilepsy. As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will also be supporting the friendly class teacher by running intervention classes to support children that require extra help. Your duties will include working alongside the SENCO to ensure a smooth delivery of student’s EHCP.
