Required for a maternity cover, qualified Business Studies teacher.

This position has arisen at our client school, and Teaching Personnel are working to source a skilled Business Studies teacher to join on a full time basis teaching Business Studies at Key Stage 4.

- Easter 2019 start date

- Good structure in place for new starters, including NQTs

Our client school is an oversubscribed, mixed secondary academy with an excellent reputation in the local community. Since the appointment of the new Headteacher this academic year, there have been a number of changes across teaching and learning, with the aim of building on last years positive GCSE results, and improving on the above-average Progress 8 score. The school has over 1600 students currently enrol aged 11-16, with the large majority enrol from the local community, strengthening the respectful attitude of students throughout.

The incoming Business Studies teacher will join a successful department, and a cohort of students keen and eager to learn. Pupil behaviour is positive both during lessons and around the school, but the incoming teacher will need to be able to effectively manage behaviour in line with the schools policy.

Requirements of this post;

** PGCE or relevant teaching based qualification, specialising in Business Studies

** Previous experience teaching Business at Key Stage 4

** A proven track record of delivering excellent lessons to engage students of all abilities

** A willingness to commit to full responsibilities of a long term position
