Where words fail, music speaks! We're excited to be currently working with the UK's leading owner and operator of live music venues.

They are looking for an accounts assistant to join their busy finance team on a temporary basis. The role is based at their head office in Brixton.

Your key responsibilities will include:-

• Inputting weekly show information received from venues onto Oracle – settlements, bar reports, booking fees & cash and sales reports

• Completing weekly/monthly bank reconciliations on Oracle from bank statements

• Month end procedures – safe reconciliations, credit card and cash collection reconciliations, petty cash journals, advertising recharges, PRS recharges

• Completing monthly Advanced Ticket Sales reconciliations – making sure that figures match information from Ticket Outlets and dealing with any differences

• Carrying out internal audits at venues and reporting this information to management

• Inputting invoices onto Oracle

• Dealing with weekly and monthly payment batches

• Complete monthly creditor reconciliations from supplier statements

• Filling in prepayments spreadsheet, making sure copies are kept in the audit file

• Complying with various SOX procedures such as photocopying invoices over £5k, copies of cheques and completing vendor set up forms

• Monthly debtors to be compiled from information from Oracle and sent out to venues

• Make sure that debtors responses are received from venue and action taken

• Input sales invoices and receipts onto Oracle and reconcile to payments received

You will be:-

• Part-qualified AAT

• Good working knowledge of debits and credits

• Computer Literacy – Excel, Outlook

• Experience using Oracle

• A year's experience in a busy financial environment

• Attention to detail

• Strong administration & time management skills

• Ability to work on own initiative & self-motivation to meet challenging deadlines

• Detailed and thorough approach

• Team Player
