Accountabilities:
• Ensure compliance with all the companies’ management processes and procedures.
• Full involvement with the plant installation strategy and installation concept including the enabling works e.g. penetrations, deconstructions.
• Manage the sub-contract package(s) and the sub-contractor(s).
• Ensure that all plant movements are compliant with current legislation in respect of planning and implementation.
• Ensure that the sub-contractor programme is aligned with the companies programme and that the activities are planned accordingly.
• Ensure that production programmes are regularly monitored for progress and report.
• Liaise with designers and manufacturers to ensure design is fit for purpose.
• Liaise with Magnox designers to maintain a communication route and confirm their acceptance in a timely fashion of any changes or enhanced requirements,
• Ensure the installation process from start to finish is compliant with current legislation, standards and codes of practice.
• Ensure the quality of the work is designed and implemented in line with the requirements. This will include FAT / SAT tests, factory visits, liaison with the companies quality team

Responsibilities:
• In discharging these responsibilities they are responsible for:
• Providing a professional, comprehensive and sustainable management service to the company and the client.
• All work to be undertaken in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations 2015, LOLER, PUWER, and any other relevant legislation.
• Initiate the preparation and approval of all required safe systems of work, lifting plans, ITPs, DCR's and any other required documentation to be submitted for the company and / or customer reviews or approval.
• Coordination of sub-contractor programmes to be integrated into the companies programme.
• Working with the Construction Manager, Design Manager and Technical leads to foster a culture of delivery.
• Establishing, maintaining and communicating the production programme and budgetary information.
• Implementing all company procedures and processes throughout the course of the work as required

Competency Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience with all types of mechanical plant installation methods
• Experienced and competent quality control
• Experience of a nuclear projects
• Effective communication within the team, the client, and with sub-contractors
• Fully understand CDM Regulations 2015 relevant to plant installation methods.
• PC Literate

Qualifications:
• Suitable vocational qualification(s)
• CSCS Card
• QA
