Finance Assistant – Permanent – Full Time - Competitive Salary

We are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of our client based near Stowmarket. The ideal candidate will be performing executive administrative work for a precise and complete accounts payable and accounts receivable record and forecast within agreed timescales.

Key duties include:

Preparing invoices and on approval sending them.
Credit control management - monitoring outstanding accounts and reporting them.
Signalling payment problems, sending in consultation, payment reminders and warnings.
Preparing and submitting credit notes.
Entering invoices onto Sage, avoid errors/duplications and assigning the correct project number.
Processing incoming invoices, monitoring the turnaround time and archiving them.
Checking invoices against orders made.
Making sure invoices are checked off according to the procedures.
Managing client financial correspondence, chasing overdue invoices and credits.
Entering and maintaining invoices in system on a weekly basis.

Key requirements:

Three years’ experience in accountancy position.
Sage 50 accounts experience.
