Property Legal Secretary

Our client a highly regarded law firm with multiple office across Essex and Suffolk in the Top Legal 500. Pride themselves on providing first class customer service, are recruiting for an experienced Property legal secretary to join their Commercial property team.

The Role

* To provide secretarial support to a partner and senior fee earner

* Audio typing using digital dictation Bighand

* Diary management , booking rooms and arranging meetings

* Completing forms using Oyez forms

* Creating letters, emails and documents

* Liaise with clients, solicitors, Estate agents and mortgage lenders

* Deal with client queries, and take instruction from clients

* Amend and reformat documents in Microsoft word and using Track Changes

* Apply for searches using on line services including land registry

* Using HRMC website to complete stamp duty land tax forms

* Deal with post completion matters including the registration of documentation HM Land Registry and companies house

* Maintain client files, opening and closing of files

* Maintain the filing system

* Assist fee earners in the maintenance of client accounts

Experience required:

* At least 1 years recent property legal secretarial experience

* Fast and accurate audio typing skills, including Digital dictation

* Experience with Microsoft office , word, outlook, Excel

* Able to prioritise and multitask

* Excellent telephone manor

* Possess the ability to deal with client queries when fee earners are out of the office

* Hours Monday to Friday 9am- 5.30pm ,
