Key Responsibilities
• Ensuring requisitions are processed in a timely manner
• Speaking to suppliers and obtaining best pricing models • Raising Purchase Orders at agreed bid/correct prices
• Booking in of Purchase Orders (after obtaining proof of delivery)
• Invoice query resolution with suppliers
• Arranging return for credit for DOA or incorrect parts
• Registering/chasing repair(s) under warranty with Manufacturer
• Arranging deliveries/collections as required, ensuring best price/timings
• Action /External sub-contractor processes and relationships.
• Liaison with Sub-Contractors / Customer Service/other internal teams on progress and resolution of each Service Order Job Invoice query resolution with SubContractors/Suppliers
• Liaising with other internal teams especially CSD, Logistics and Workshop
• Reporting updates on Client stock
• Supporting Procurement Supervisor where necessary
• Assisting other team members as necessary
Skills Profile
Essential Skills
• Previous Purchasing/Supplier liaison experience
• I.T. Hardware knowledge ideally at component level
• Able to communicate well at all levels.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Able to work on your own initiative, as well as be a good team player.
• Excellent communication skills both written & verbal.
