Live In Personal Assistant / Carer

Based in Wokingham

Salary: £90.00 per day

Start: As soon as possible

Our client is an ambitious, hard-working, potential Paralympic athlete, who is now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated team of Personal Assistants to enable her to live an independent life, maintain her health, safety and support her to achieve her goals and dreams.

As a Live In Personal Assistant, you will provide all aspects of care as directed by the client, within her own home, with the opportunity for travel to support our client in her career as a Boccia athlete. An interest in nutrition would be an advantage.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with personal care
- Supporting with the preparation of nutritious food & drinks
- Driving client to training/ appointments/ competitions
- Being a caring, empathetic companion
- Monitoring supplies of medicines/maintaining medical equipment
- Flexible rostering around two weeks on/ two weeks off pattern, with variations to meet the needs of the client as required

Qualities required:
- Empathetic and caring nature
- Excellent communication skills - must have fluent written and spoken English
- Great time management skills
- Good problem solving / organisational skills
- Good team player
- Full, clean driving licence

NB Due to the intimate nature of some aspects of this role, this position, under the Equality Act 2010, is subject to an Occupational Needs Exemption, so that only Females should apply.

Experience preferable but not essential, but must be willing to develop appropriate competencies/ skills.
