Part-Time (3 days per week) Finance Manager offering £45,000 FTE dependent on experience
Your new company
Is a small, specialist in house insurance broker established in the 1970s. They have recently moved to Thame. They are in fully modernised and refurbished offices.
Your new role
The role of the Finance Manager is to be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the company's banking, accounts and financial resources. You will report to and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer. The role includes:
Developing robust systems and processes
Assisting accountants with preparing Statutory accounts
Management of all Purchase Ledger and Sales ledger
Processing of payments and credit control
Reconciliations of ledgers, bank accounts
Maintaining records, cash books, expenses and petty cash
What you'll need to succeed
You will be CIMA or ACCA qualified or possibly part-qualified.You will have a proficient knowledge of accounting systems (Xero)
You will be able to demonstrate that you have worked at a similar level and have proven finance, bookkeeping and administration skills.
You will have very high professional standards with great attention to detail, accuracy and a commitment to excellence.
You will be able to demonstrate great ability to plan, organise and prioritise work in order to meet deadlines.
You will have an excellent telephone manner and have the confidence to deal with a wide range of external contacts.
Your will be happy working autonomously and to take the responsibility that goes with that.
