SEN Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a passionate and caring individual to support pupils in a vibrant and forward thinking secondary special school based in Bury. All our pupils have a Statement of Special Educational Needs. You will be working with pupils between the ages of 11 to 19 in very small class sizes.

The responsibilities of this role include:
*Helping the teacher to deliver interesting a fun lessons to pupils
*Helping to devise a lesson plan with the teacher
*Working in small groups and on a one to one basis with pupils to enhance learning
*Helping the pupils with their additional care needs (e.g. feeding, toileting)
The requirements for this role are:
*A DBS on the update service
*Experience with children or with adults with additional care needs
*Being a proactive person who is able to act with their own initiative
*Having a dedication to providing an exceptional learning experience to pupils
