Purchase Ledger Clerk

You will join this friendly team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk within their Finance department. This role has been created due to the volume of work, so although this is a temporary post, it may be extended.
You will input purchase (supplier) invoices, scan and file invoices, and reconcile supplier statements to check for missing invoices. You will have good data entry skills, gained from working in an office environment, and you will be comfortable with Microsoft packages including Excel. You will deal with telephone calls from suppliers regarding payment, so you will have confident communication skills.
If you have previous accounting experience, that would be an advantage but more important is a willingness to work as part of a team, taking pride in your work through a keen attention to detail.
