Senior Procurement Manager
City Recruitment Group are looking to recruit a permanent Senior Procurement Manager paying between £42,000 - £48,000 in the Warwickshire area, West Midlands.
YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Senior Procurement Manager you will be supporting the procurement department to provide efficient and responsive services working on category based projects. You will be responsible for monitoring procurement strategies and making sure best value contracts and continuous improvement solutions are delivered. You will also provide a strategic link between the Procurement department and other departments, to drive value for money through contracts and improve contract performance and management information.
As a Senior Procurement Manager you will also be working closely with stakeholders to assess current supply chain solutions and implement most favourable procurement strategies. You will also be responsible in supporting other colleagues within the procurement function as well as non procurement staff. You will be support achievement of the Procurement Office KPIs and embed the category management framework across spend areas in excess of £10M per annum. You will be planning, leading and awarding complex procurement processes, contracts and framework agreements to achieve optimum savings, value for money and time-scales.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING
- Significant experience within complex procurement environment
- Established record of delivering procurement strategies, savings and driving best value
- Managing spend across a range of category areas
- Excellent stakeholder/supplier management skills
- Staff management and leadership skills
- Hold MCIPS qualification
