My client based in Staines, Middlesex are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the team. The role will be working in a small team providing internal support to around 250 users. You will be responsible for dealing with requests from 1st - 3rd Line Support and work as the senior escalation engineer for 3rd Line Support issues. As well as providing first class support you will be the face of the business and be delivering a consultative approach to resolving issues

For the role, you will need the following technical experience;

  • Windows Server 2008/2012/2016
  • Hyper-V / VMWare
  • MS Office
  • Exchange
  • Active Directory
  • LAN/WAN Infrastructure
  • Principal Accountabilities:

  • Overall responsible for the management, monitoring and maintenance of all Windows and Linux serversTechnical ownership for the solutions and strive for 100% uptime
  • Provide 1st - 3rd line telephone and remote support to colleagues within different teams
