Cover Supervisor required for exceptional Cheshire secondary school.

Due to the high demand this term one of our good clients has asked us to source a Cover Supervisor to work within their establishment, which has students ranging from 11 to 18. They are proud to promote their academic excellence, strong community and amazing opportunities that prepare them for life after school. The school's members, both staff and students, are exceptionally friendly and a pleasure to work with and teach. Previous temporary compliment the school, so it would be a walk in the park!
This role as a Cover Supervisor is beneficial to many, including; graduates wanting more experience within a classroom before throwing themselves in, those who just enjoy the environment, or teachers who are taking a step back from the pressure. This role has come about due to such high demand recently, so it's handy for the school to employ someone full-time as a precaution, meaning they're always covered. As previously mentioned, this is a full-time position, so you will be working Monday- Friday (8:30- 3:00). The commencement of this job is 13th March 2019 and the duration will be until Easter, however, if all goes well then there could be an opportunity to continue after the half-term.
In order to be considered for this position it is important that you meet the following criteria:
- You need to have a degree or an educational equivalent
- You have experience within a classroom, other vocational work will be considered
- You have experience within a supervisory role and can lead positively
- You will be strong within the classroom possessing a firm but fair approach regarding disciplinary issues
- You have a passion for working with children and feel you can make a positive difference
- You possess an up to date DBS
