On behalf of our client, a high end and highly successful company based in the Amersham area, we are recruiting for a Senior Accounts Administrator to join the firm’s vibrant team.

Within this role, the Senior Accounts Administrator will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Take part in the financial management of the business to trial balance level

  • Process sales and purchase ledgers including invoices, payments and queries
  • Process expense payments
  • Process payroll, HMRC tax returns and VAT reconciliations
  • Involvement of CIS tax
  • Assisting with ad hoc administration tasks
  • Involvement with computerised stock allocation and job costing
  • Producing routine reports, schedules and summaries
  • Reconciliations of UK and Euro bank accounts

To be considered for this position, applicants will have the following skill, experience and attributes:

Minimum of five years accounts experience, preferably with experience gained within a multi-company organisation

  • Be IT literate with experience of Sage Line 50
  • Experience with payroll, VAT returns and CIS tax
  • Be highly organised with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly communicate at all levels
  • Be outgoing with a positive 'can do’ attitude
