Contract Manager Wanted
Venn Group is currently recruiting for two contract managers for a contracted assignment in a prestigious London University, based in a great location. This is a temporary and ongoing position.
The successful candidate will be undertaking very interesting work within a research-intensive University rated in the top 25 universities in the world by various league tables. It has around 6,000 active research awards and contracts with annual expenditure of circa £460m.
You must have recent experience working in a University and have good knowledge of agreements relating to collaborative research, doctorial studentships, sub contracts, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, memoranda of understanding, data sharing and loan agreements.
The day to day duties of the contract manager job will include, but are not limited to:
- Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of research and research- related agreements including research collaboration, studentships, subcontracts, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, data sharing and loan agreements.
- Negotiation with funders and collaborators to achieve the best possible contractual terms including with respect to limitation of liability, publications rights and intellectual property
- Reviewing draft agreements received from funders and collaborators
