Our Client based within Torbay are part of a Global Group. A world-wide company, with its HQ in the US and with European Headquarters in the UK and subsidiaries in Germany, Austria, France and Belgium.
World-wide turnover is in excess of $110 million, of which $25million is generated by the European operation. The Group is expanding rapidly through acquisition and organic growth. It aims to widen and deepen its product offering over the coming months and years.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a global market leader in their specialist field. With sales exceeding £100 million within the Health / Pharmaceutical Sectors, our client seeks to recruit a Product & Marketing Executive.
You will ideally a marketing degree or similar.
You will be working within the marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager, with responsibilities including the overseeing of all online and offline media, such as; product literature/support material creation & updates, training materials, product databases, updates to website(s) and web presence (including social media), mailshots, photography and video.
The role also includes working together with the USA based Marketing Team to reach out to our clients target audience.
To oversee and ensure compliance with design and brand guidelines throughout the company.
For product groups covered provide marketing and communication plans, along with timelines for implementation, to the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Produce Marketing material (including product literature/support material creation & updates, training materials, updates to website(s) and web presence (including social media), mailshots, photography and video, in line with company branding guidelines and communication strategy. The main focus being on offline marketing material.
2.Liaise with printers and third-party suppliers for jobs that require external help for completion and liaise with specialist journals for advertising. Editing and proofreading copy as necessary for all materials.
3.Aid in the project planning process and taking lead in the implementation phase. Take ownership and the lead for assigned projects and tasks, completing them within the designated timeframe. Supporting open communication knowledge sharing.
4.Provide new product set up support and information input and help with product forecasts when necessary.
5.Work as a team to ensure that requests from office and sales staff are dealt with in a timely manner and offer support to other team members, remaining flexible at all times.
6.Be proactive and committed to improving the Marketing and Sales areas and its processes and efficiencies, ensuring deadlines and briefs are met.
7.Keep an eye on competitor activity including journals, online activity and monitoring of news sites relevant to the business to then distribute gathered information to the relevant teams.
8.To ensure that professional, effective working relationships are in place to obtain appropriate input and information needed for daily work and plans/programme development.
·Ideally have a Marketing Degree (But not essential).

·Have excellent English written and spoken language skills (French or German language skills are an added bonus)
