Compliance Administrator/Junior Analyst - Key Duties

To support the Head of Compliance in fulfilling the company’s compliance monitoring plan.

Document and report on regulatory rule breaches and ensure their resolution.

Follow up on any outstanding actions points resulting from compliance monitoring activities.

Assist in planning and realising compliance change projects.

Conduct regulatory horizon monitoring, alerting the Head of Compliance of any relevant changes and summarising such changes as and when required.

Assist the Chief Risk Officer with their duties from time to time.

Maintain the firm’s compliance training system, producing reports as and when required.

Assist in the delivery of classroom based compliance training.

Act as the administrator for the compliance documents library.

Other administrative duties required to be undertaken from time to time.

Compliance Administrator/Junior Analyst - Key Requirements

At least 3 years’ experience in the insurance industry.

Rudimentary understanding of the UK regulatory regime.

Compliance experience and knowledge is not necessary but considered desirable.

Cert CII minimum or equivalent risk management (IRM) or compliance (ICA) qualification.

Proficient IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft software, such as Excel, Word and Power point.

Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
