Charity Fundraising Recruitment Officer
We are UrbanLeaf - the UK’s longest running charity fundraising company. We specialise in face to face fundraising on behalf of children’s charities and humanitarian organisations such as ActionAid, Oxfam, Plan International and Barnardo’s. We fundraise out and about on the high street and have teams all over the UK- including here in London as well as Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.
We are looking to recruit someone new to work in our London office, helping to make all the recruitment phone calls to potential new fundraisers. Screening candidates and booking in those that are successful for interviews with our Regional Managers.
We are looking for bright, engaging communicators for the street fundraising roles - therefore you have to those qualities yourself in-order to help us find the best fundraisers for our team!
We focus totally on Quality - and that’s with both the candidates we put forward for interviews and the fundraisers themselves and the donations they secure for our charity partners.
Ideally the successful recruitment officer will have some fundraising experience either face to face or over the phone, be exceptional in terms of communication, be confident over the phone and have some basic experience with admin and using excel.
The job is primarily going to be working with Gemma our Recruitment Manager, in our small London office. The hours may vary as we have some flexibility with some potential 10-6 days as well as the usual 9-5.
