This company offers complete electrical design, installation and aftercare for commercial and industrial projects.

They are currently looking for Approved Electricians to work on projects across the country for a major blue-chip client. The position will involve working on Commercial / Industrial contracts of varying sizes.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years' experience of working on a variety of commercial / industrial projects, be able to lead a small team of electricians and work with other contractors / client FM teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial and Industrial Electrical installation projects of varying sizes.
- Reading drawings, cable schedules and specifications.
- Testing and inspection of your work and existing installations.
- Marking up as-built drawings
- Completing in house paperwork and using in house systems on iPads and laptop PCs
- Update the management team on progress against programme of projects.
- Completing all documents associated with their ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 systems.
- Liaising with the client and their representatives on site.

Person Specification
- Hold a City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 qualifications or other UK equivalents
- Time served apprenticeship supported by relevant formal qualifications.
- Hold a 17th / 18th Edition Compliant or current IEE Regulations qualification
- Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to working hours
- Demonstrate the ability to work to tight timescales and under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.

Desirable experience
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
- SMSTS or SSSTS Safety qualifications
- Commercial Solar PV Experience
- PASMA Card (Towers).
- First Aid qualification.
- 11Kv switching supported by a relevant qualification.
