Band 2 Health Care Assistant Opportunities

The Adult Ward areas are now recruiting for Band 2 Health Care Assistants
There are opportunities for both full and part-time hours based on an internal rotation of shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Shift times are
Early shift 0715-1415
Late shift 1315-2000
Long day 0715-2000
Night shift 1930-0745
During the recruitment event you will have the opportunity to discuss your career pathway, continuous professional development, and induction programs. There are excellent development opportunities for our Health Care Assistant to develop their career further with access to apprenticeship programmes that can even lead to becoming a Nursing Associate or Registered Nurse
On the day we will be interviewing for the following St Peter’s Hospital ward based areas:
- Adult Medical Wards
- Adult Surgical Wards
- Hyper Acute Stroke Unit
- Senior Adult Medical Services
Previous experience is not required as full training will be given, including a mandatory 10 day Trust Induction Programme, however good communication skills and a compassionate and caring nature are essential.
