Here at Ashford and St Peters our workforce is diverse and we celebrate the differences in us all by listening and respecting our fantastic nursing teams, which is why we believe we have an opportunity to suit anyone interested in a career as a health care assistant

The Adult Ward areas are now recruiting for Band 2 Health Care Assistants

There are opportunities for both full and part-time hours based on an internal rotation of shifts including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Shift times are

Early shift 0715-1415

Late shift 1315-2000

Long day 0715-2000

Night shift 1930-0745

During the recruitment event you will have the opportunity to discuss your career pathway, continuous professional development, and induction programs. There are excellent development opportunities for our Health Care Assistant to develop their career further with access to apprenticeship programmes that can even lead to becoming a Nursing Associate or Registered Nurse

On the day we will be interviewing for the following St Peter’s Hospital ward based areas:

  • Adult Medical Wards
  • Adult Surgical Wards
  • Hyper Acute Stroke Unit
  • Senior Adult Medical Services

Previous experience is not required as full training will be given, including a mandatory 10 day Trust Induction Programme, however good communication skills and a compassionate and caring nature are essential.

Our teams will give you care and support both personally and professionally in an environment where you are valued by the team, appreciated and accepted for being you. Happy staff equal happy patients!

If you think that you have what it takes to work in an organisation where we live our values then please come and join us…
