I am recruiting for a Senior Carer to join a busy domiciliary care branch near to Pocklington.
This business has been created, and is currently overseen, by the Managing Director who herself has a solid background of working within social care and is a qualified social worker.
This company believes in providing the highest levels of care and support and do not believe in short care calls. To attract and retain the best employees, they do not offer zero-hour contracts.

Alongside your basic salary, you will be rewarded with benefits to include; company fuel allowance (yearly) with access to a company car (depending on availability), pension, cash plan, time back in lieu for additional hours worked and discounts off a local hair and beauty salon.
*A Full UK Driving License with access to a car is ESSENTIAL for this role as frequent travel will be required
Flexibility is required as alternate weekend working will be required, as well as varying working hours within the week (depending on business need).
This role will require you to work both on and off rota with a mixture of hands on care/working out in the field and being office based.
Other duties include;
- Supervising staff
- Assisting with the creation and distribution of staff rotas
- Staff observations
- Take part in the 'on call' which is shared between the team
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care as minimum, ideally NVQ Level 3 qualified
- Experience of working in the care industry, ideally at Senior Carer/Supervisor level
