This is a forward thinking, family run lifting equipment engineering company with over 70 years industry experience. They have built a strong reputation within the industry over the years and that is built on the fantastic team they have.

As a lifting equipment technical manager, no 2 days will be the same.

Demand for training has grown dramatically over the last few years and as it continues to grow, they will be looking for you to take a key role in managing that department

Your scope will include:
- Delivering lifting industry training courses both internally and externally for up to 3/4 days a week
- Offering advice on best practice to staff and clients alike
- Using your industry expertise to carry out failure anlysis of product or procedures
- Assisting with quoting and project managing of large / more complex orders

Skill and Experience:
- You must have extensive lifting equipment and overhead crane industry knowledge and expertise in order to be considered for the role.
- Should have recognised industry qualifications such as LEEA or equivalent
- You will be personable and able to deliver a training course in an engaging and enthusiastic manner.
- Experience managing your own workload and projects is essential as the role is mostly autonomous.
- You should also have experience in carrying out investigations into equipment / procedure failure.
- Have a strong working knowledge of health and safety in the work place

- Up to £35k depending on qualifications and experience.

You will be based from the Stockton or Newcastle offices, but the majority of your time will be spent on site, delivering training or offering advice on projects. Flexible working is offered for the right people, if required.

You will be expected to travel to sites across the North East of England, with the occasional overnight stay, but this will be dependent on client requirements.
