A super exciting Account Manager role up for grabs with a very elite, well connected and well respected sponsorship activation/luxury PR agency that is experienced within the motorsport industry. You will need to have an interest in luxury automotive and/or sport, with an open mind and the willingness to learn, get your hands dirty and work hard for these amazing tier 1 clients.

A smaller agency in size – approx. 12 people; the business has two extremely well respected and experienced founders – one oversees the luxury brand side of the business whose clients cover varying sectors, whilst the other heads up the clients that sponsor varying forms of the F1!

With the agency being smaller and nimble with no corners to hide in, this hire is extremely important to the business and paramount to maintaining strong relationships they currently hold with clients, media and suppliers.

This role offers exposure to some of the worlds’ elite within their field. This is a rare opportunity for someone to work very closely with the founders, a senior team member and of course the clients face to face on a daily basis. It’s a motorsport fans’ dream role!

So, what does this role entail!?

Working with CMO’s and extremely senior members within the business; trust, maturity, discretion, hard work, organised/methodical, gravitas and common sense are all skill sets required! You will be extremely conscientious of the work you deliver, have an interest in motorsport / sports, be an excellent communicator and have a personality!

The Champions League is part of the sponsorship activation so any knowledge / interest in football is ideal, as well as motorsport and sport in general. If you have one without the other, this is totally fine - the client will happily develop your knowledge and skill set where needed if you have the right attitude and work ethic. You will play an active role in conceptualising, planning and delivering brand and sponsorship activations and communications for the agency’s primary clients. You should have proven experience as an exceptional Senior Account Executive or Account Manager working at an agency creating, activating and amplifying partnerships and experiences for brands, properties and/or rights holders.

You should have a good understanding in one or more of the following areas; brand & sponsorship activation, event planning and management, campaign strategy & delivery, sports PR & media and digital marketing & social strategies.

You should demonstrate the ambition, confidence and enthusiasm to join an established boutique agency on the front line of headline campaigns and partnerships (both domestic & international). From creative and strategy planning to activation and campaign management, you will be expected to proactively contribute across all stages with the ability to project manage multiple workstreams.

Preferred Attributes & Experience

3+ years relevant experience in high-profile brand & sponsorship activations and communications (sports & entertainment preferred)
Creative, dedicated, dynamic and versatile personality with superior written and verbal communication skills
Proactive self-starter with “can do” attitude, “big-picture thinking” and a strong desire to learn is essential
Confident writing and presenting compelling presentations
Strong client and stakeholder relationship skills
Strong project management and organisational skills
Experience of managing and reconciling project budgets
Experience of working with Formula 1, motorsport, automotive or sports clients essential
Strong understanding of sports sponsorship industry and key stakeholders
Previous experience of working on live events preferred
Excellent attention to detail & ability to work at pace
Highly organised & able to meet strict deadlines
This is a full-time role requiring eligibility to work in the UK
Ability & willingness to travel as required (occasional UK & international)
Salary dependant on experience
