Event and Content Manager
A well known publisher in North London is recruiting for a bright and commercial Event and Content Manager that will bring their long standing and world famous automotive brand to life for their consumers and commercial partners by devising and delivering a portfolio of varied consumer events. From concept, creation through to event marketing and delivery, the role covers all aspects of event management. They currently produce a number of events per year, from an awards night and licensed readers events through to Track Days and intimate Reader Evenings with… to creating the content for a branded stage at a consumer automotive exhibition. The client is looking for a dedicated person to accelerate their event creation programme, someone who through their knowledge and experience of different audiences and events and through market research and insight, can create a profitable, varied events programme from big to small, whether that is with partners, licensed or as a wholly owned venture. This position will work closely with the Publisher to profitably manage all day-to-day event and related content responsibilities, delivering compelling event content to a budget. The successful candidate will be creative and strong on event creation, logistics and project management, being able to manage all relevant production contacts in the run up to an event and on the day. The right candidate will ideally have worked in a B2C publishing events environment and understand what makes an event a success for consumers and sponsors. Working proactively with the marketing department, the successful applicant will know how to market an event both on and off line, pre and post event, to maximise awareness and impact.
