A Payroll Administrator is being sought by Bond Williams Accounting and Finance for an award winning payroll bureau based within a large Poole based accountancy firm.

As Payroll Administrator, you would report to the Head of Payroll and work as part of a team processing client payrolls. Duties would include: running weekly, monthly and quarterly payrolls of up to c.500 employees, dealing with client queries, processing starters and leavers, P45s, P6/9s, holiday pay, overtime, expenses, mileage, bonus payments, SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP, producing PAYE schedules for clients and calculations of deductions, auto enrolment deductions, reconciliations and assessments, setting up new PAYE schemes with HMRC, and carrying out RTI year end procedures.

You will need to have experience of working within a busy payroll environment and ideally have knowledge of auto enrolment, although training would be provided. Experience of processing school payroll and working within a payroll bureau would be an advantage but not essential. Good communication skills, attention to detail, good Excel and the ability to work to strict deadlines and accurately are all also essential.
