Reporting the Group Accountant you will be responsible for the effective operation of accounting activities. The position Ensuring effective and efficient operation of all retained accounting and treasury activities. Processing journals for internal staff payroll and employed consultant payroll. Preparing month end journals and adjustments including accruals and prepayments. Preparing management accounts for Branch costs Head office costs and FTE's. Collaborate with outsourced accounts payable function to ensure correct postings to P&L. Supporting Finance Analysts with monthly activities. Balance sheet reconciliations. Intercompany invoicing and reconciliations. Liaison with internal and external audit for Accounting/Treasury and Banking related activities. The person The successful candidate will be currently qualifying for AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent You will ideally have at least 3 years experience gained within an accounting finance environment. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Highly numerate and analytical mindset with attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks. Experience with accounting systems, PeopleSoft/Coda/Microsoft GP dynamics and Hyperion Financial Management is desirable, but not essential.
