Technical Sales Engineer

Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire

£25000 - £45000pa

To support our growth strategy, we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with a proven track record of selling capital equipment in engineering and driving innovation.

Applicants must have a fresh and dynamic approach to sales, be up for a challenge and feel passionate about pursuing a rewarding career in metrology solutions.

In the role, you will be required to:

Pro-actively and independently seek new business opportunities and revenue streams

Turn enquiries into leads and opportunities, working with these through to closure

Establish new and maintain existing customer relationships

Manage and interpret customer requirements, calculating relevant quotations and handling negotiations

Contribute towards meeting quarterly and annual sales targets

Co-ordinate sales activity and maintain data using a CRM system

Perform machine demonstrations both on and off-site

Attend national trade shows, in-house exhibitions and other marketing events as required

Some experience of selling capital equipment in a B2B environment
