We are currently recruiting for an Electrician to join our team at our site in Aldermaston, Berkshire, RG7 4PR
Hours: 0(phone number removed)(1615 on Fridays) - 30 mins lunch (74-hour fortnight)
Job Purpose:
To ensure that all activities electrical aspects are delivered in an effective,efficient and professional manner to the complete satisfaction of all of ourdirect and indirect clients.
Support the Line Manager in the day to day implementation of EMCOR policies, procedures and standards necessary to maintain the integrity of ongoing operational activities and provide high quality service to customers in accordance with:

EMCOR / Client Contract
Able to demonstrate a proven track record with (post apprenticeship) experience of planned maintenance in a highly regulated environment.
Ensure that your technical training and development is kept up-to-date.
Ensure all Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance is completed to schedule ensuring that appropriate documentation is completed and submitted in a timely fashion.
Take responsibility for allocated work orders from receipt to completion.
Perform rectification of defects, ensuring all safety and performance standards are met in accordance with the contract.
Carry out routine maintenance work associated with all Electrical systems.
Supervise specialist contractors and ensure all certification/ documentation is completed in accordance with client and EMCOR requirements.
Liaise with and respond to the Helpdesk ensuring that urgent maintenance tasks are responded to within appropriate timescales.
Ensure that good housekeeping and working practices are employed and ensure that you represent EMCOR in a professional manner at all times.
Conform to safety rules and apply good engineering and safety practices.
Willing to work in secure and sensitive environment on an exclusively manned site.
Perform call out duty as required in accordance with contractual requirements.
Comply with any reasonable request from line manager.
Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ & C&G 2382 -10 17th Edition, minimum requirements
* C&G 2391-10 Inspection & Testing, & C&G 2391-20 Design & Verification preferred but not required
* Experience of installation, testing and maintenance of LV distribution systems
* Experience of standby power systems including prime movers and UPS
* Knowledge of PSSR 2000/Confined Space, Legionella, and Permit to Work systems.
* Be willing to undertake all duties and responsibilities, including relevant training & medicals, as deemed necessary for working in radiological and explosive controlled areas
* Proven experience within a building services environment.
* Articulate, numerate and IT literate.
* Understand the cost of poor performance.
* The ability to establish, implement and monitor high standards of excellence in areas of quality, safety and operational performance.
* Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in the field of assurance/ health and safety and environment.
* Have good decision making and communication skills.
* Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels.
* Be able to communicate effectively and have flexible approach to work patterns
* The individual must meet all minimum criteria to apply for and pass security clearance procedures.
* To undertake all duties and responsibilities, including relevant training and medicals, as deemed necessary for working in radiological and explosive controlled areas
