We work as part of a team delivering a first class, professional customer service in a 1st line support position. Sound judgment and making decisions within established procedures for each service request includes logging, processing and follow-up, adhering to agreed KPI, service level agreements and quality standards to maximize customer satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesResolve 1st line software tickets with assistance of mentor and team leader Log onto customer systems remotely to assist with ticket resolution Resolve computer hardware tickets remotely Liaise with hardware suppliers to order replacement items Take calls from customers and raise support tickets Follow up “customer care” calls
Key SkillsPassionate about learning and improving their IT skill base and knowledge Team player and also someone who can work alone Someone who can use their initiative, as well as being able to ask for support when needed Excellent communicator with a number of different levels within a business and clientele
Desired Qualification3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above
Other Important Information
37.5 hours per week
£12,000 per annum, with additional support of transport costs when the candidate is training with QA, when they travel to and from their home ONLY to the QA Training Academy.
