This is an exciting time for SmartSurvey and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team based in Tewkesbury, to help us continue to flourish and grow.

We’re looking for a Front End Web Developer Apprentice to work with our expanding team. As an Apprentice, you will have some experience of coding your own websites whether in an education, professional or hobby environment.

Required Skills & Experience

* You will have some experience as a web developer

* You will have experience in coding in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery

* You will have experience in SQL Server Database

* You will have some knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, Web Forms

* Visual Studio Team Services/Git

Additional Desirable Skill Set

* Experience with .NET technoglogies

* VB.NET

* MVC, WebAPI

* Working with 3rd party API’s

* An eye for design

You will be able to complete projects in a timely fashion, in line with our development standards. The right candidate for this role will have excellent communication skills in order to communicate with clients and team members.

Working week

Monday - Friday: 9am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Annual wage: £15,000

Training to be provided

The successful candidate will undertake a two year nationally recognised qualification through TDM.

This is a work-based learning programme which will require commitment to block weeks in a training room once every quarter working towards the qualification along with weekly off the job training and monthly coaching sessions. You will be required to demonstrate through the standard that you meet all competencies and behaviours which will lead to the acheivement of the qualification. These block weeks will take place at either of our training centres, in Birmingham or Worcester, whichever is more suitable for your location.

You will have a designated mentor in the workplace to support your learning and at the end of programme will be assessed via an external assessment body.

This is a Level 4 qualification.

KM1 Software Developer Methodologies

KM2 Software Languages

MTA HTML5
