At Costa Express we continue our entrepreneurial drive and investment in technology to fuel step changes in growth. Our IT team is growing and year on year we deliver more projects enabling the business to achieve their challenging targets.

The Role

To ensure our day to day system operations run smoothly through effective and efficient coordination of workload and resources to ensure best possible service delivery and support to Costa Express and our external partners. Working closely with the Systems and Data Director on the strategic planning of future technology solutions and services, you will proactively drive the implementation and support of these initiatives. With oversight of infrastructure, IT security and our Loudwater IT support desk, you’ll be involved in a number of our key IT projects.

The Person

* Will have a broad technical knowledge

* Project planning and delivery experience

* Budgeting, procurement and contracts negotiation

* IT networking and telecommunications knowledge

* Solid awareness of IT security best practice

The Ideal Candidate

* Will have had previous experience managing the performance of all support and services to internal/external customers

* Leading and managing the support team to ensure individual performance levels meet all business needs

* Working with technology teams to implement service improvement plans and ensure our infrastructure is scalable to match our business ambitions

* Adept at communicating clearly and effectively with both technical and business users

Essential Experience

* Solid experience in IT service operations & Team Management

* Experience of negotiating and compiling service contracts

* Experience of running service reviews, driving service improvement and co-ordinating post incident analysis.

* Proven experience of developing business relationships and dealing successfully with stakeholders, both external and internal

* History of implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives
