CNC Setter/Operator
We have a newly created opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a long established business in their machining team
We are looking to recruit a skilled individual to work within our client's Machine Shop who will be responsible for setting and operating a number of CNC turning/milling machines to produce a range of components for small bore subsea valves and filtration/dryer products, whilst maintaining the highest quality at all times.
The successful candidate will be expected to be an apprentice-trained machinist, with previous CNC machining experience (involving both programme prove-out and editing ability) as well as understanding Fanuc and Haas controls.
You will have the ability to interpret and work from a variety of technical drawings and specifications as well as having a good understanding of the complexities of working with various materials e.g. stainless steels, duplex and nickel alloys.
You should also be fully conversant with all forms of measuring equipment and gauging techniques.
The working hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week between Monday and Friday (includes paid breaks) on the following 2-shift working pattern (double-day shift), which rotates every other week:
Early Shift:
Monday - Thursday 6.00am - 2.00pm
Friday 6.00am - 11.30am
Late Shift:
Monday - Thursday 2.00pm - 10.00pm
Friday 11.30am - 5.00pm
