Overall Job Purpose:

To produce and present timely and accurate financial management information with respect to the Professional Services (PS) division.

To support operational management with financial analysis to aid decision making.

Core Responsibilities:

* Responsible for all PS financial reporting from Flash to Final accounts including monthly business review & commentaries to meet strict company deadlines

* Ensure PS divisional business unit reporting is available to management team

* Revenue analysis and WIP reconciliation including revenue recognition in line with policy, restatements and outstanding renewal analysis

* Responsible for business unit cost calculation and analysis including accruals and prepayments

* Considered journal entry to ensure overall company reporting is maintained

* Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations for PS specific items

* Report on utilisation and break-even analysis for the various PS profit centres

* Develop cash model for PS business

* Flash and monthly business review meetings with operational management

* Support PS management team with financial analysis and commercial recommendations for revenue enhancement and cost reduction

* Working with our reporting tools to review and develop the monthly management information

* Working with the services financial & operational teams as well as the wider analytical team to continually improve process, systems and reporting

* Support FP&A Accountant with key information to support business planning

* Responsible for compilation, presentation and analysis of annual budgets and periodic forecasts

* Responsible for calculating business unit rate cards following budget sign off

* Support new business tenders and contract re-pricing with financial/cost analysis where required

* Responsible for the compilation and explanation of year-end audit documents for discussion with the external auditors.

* Project work as determined by business needs

Bonus Scheme

* Maintain & develop the quarterly PS & Presales bonus scheme calculations

* Calculate and advise the PS Managing Director and commission team of the actual quarterly payments
