Our client, a manufacturing company based in Fife is currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller. This purpose of this role will be to ensure credit given to customers is monitored at all times and all records are maintained.

You will be responsible for the following:

* Allocating payments against open invoices

* Processing sales invoicing on accounting software

* Generating and issuing customer statements on a monthly basis

* Perusing & investigating debt via telephone and email

* Issuing reminder letters

* Processing new credit accounts

* Liaising with credit insurers and all internal teams

* Carry out credit checks on existing customers

* Compiling reports on customers who have breached credit terms

* Carrying out regular credit checks on existing customers

* Processing card payments

To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following skills and background:

* Must have previous credit control experience

* Previous industry experience in sectors such as manufacturing/FMCG/distribution would be advantageous

* Must have attention to detail

* Ability to work alone and as part of the team

* Excellent communication skills
