Salary: SS08 £39,413- £52,055 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance

Permanent| Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available| 37 hours per week

Our Role

As an 11/33/132kV Cable Team Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for running the construction phase of the project including managing Cable Installation, legal, environmental and consents, cable system design, CDM and Safety management, financial analysis and forecasting and assisting with the design and closure phases.

This will include managing the construction teams including the labouring staff, Machines and Plant, Traffic Management, Materials and large item management, Site compounds CDM principle Contractor responsibility, Construction programme and financial control and reporting.

Your Skills and Experience

You’ll have experience in project management of cable schemes up to either 11kV or 33kV. A minimum HNC in a relevant subject is preferred, in addition to experience in this field with a DNO, utility company or a supplier to the industry. A knowledge of Project Management methodology would be advantageous.

You’ll also have good communication skills and have previous experience in applying the Construction Design, and Management Regulations 2015 to technically complex projects, and fulfil 'Principal Contractor' duties. Requirements will include managing the delivery partner, contract management, quality assurance, quantity surveying contract and tender management; therefore, the ability to thrive under pressure is essential.
