This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the UK Finance and Administration team in activities across Tax Compliance, Auditing, Local Compliance activities, Accounting and Controlling, Financial reporting, Legal Compliance and Budgeting in a progressive role where opportunities for training, development and advancement are strong. You will be degree qualified in Accounts and Finance and fully qualified (CIMA/ICAS) with experience within an Oil and Gas Service company or Big 4 environment, with good knowledge of UK Accounting Standards. Strong analytical skills, good problem solving abilities and demonstrable team management experience is required to resource the work within the team. An example of your duties would be: Accounting and Controlling - reviewing monthly account information such as P&L, balance sheets, perform plant cost analysis with operations and industrial planning departments Responsibility for Audit tasks such as coordination of annual external audits, dealing with external auditors, preparing annual report and financial statements, prepare and coordinate posting of audit adjustment, coordinate interaction between reporting, supply chain and other departments to provide documentation and support to stakeholders and auditors Carry out monthly intrastate report preparation and provide national statistical information Responsibility for tax compliance through quarterly VAT preparation, corporate tax instalment calculation, annual corporation tax return preparation and any other requirements as per the HMRC and local authorities Coordination of local administration teams activities related to accounts payable, accounting analysis, contact with suppliers, tax compliance and administration tasks as well as payment tasks of the Account Payables Shared Services Centre Support Planning Department in preparation of the yearly fixed expenses budget for UK Coordinates the company relationship with local banks and Corporate Treasury department Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity, apply now.
