We transform lives by providing support, information and practical advice for the 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK, as well as their three million family members and carers. Since 1962, autistic people have turned to us at key moments or challenging times in their lives, be it getting a diagnosis, going to school or finding work.
We change attitudes by improving public understanding of autism and the difficulties many autistic people face. We also work closely with businesses, local authorities and government to help them provide more autism-friendly spaces, deliver better services and improve laws.
We have come a long way, but there is still so much to do to, together we can help create a society that works for autistic people.

We’re the number one autism charity in the UK and we’re there for autistic people and their families– from those going through a diagnosis for the first time, to autistic adults looking for advice for their employers. We are looking for someone able to think strategically about everything we offer and how to make it engaging, how to best use the channels available to ensure our offer reaches those who need it and those who aren’t yet aware of us.
We have a new brand that we love, and we want more people to engage with it, feel passionate about it and therefore want to be involved in our work – from using our support resources to supporting us through fundraising and volunteering.
The Business-to-consumer marketing team supports our internal colleagues with anything we do relating to autistic people, families, donors, supporters, volunteers as well as our campaigning and awareness work for public audiences. The manager position is pivotal in supporting the two Senior Marketing Officers to manage their big workloads and make effective decisions on how best to support the organisation, how to plan our marketing across all our events, channels and balance the needs of our audiences and internal stakeholders,
We are looking for someone who is tenacious about getting to know our audiences – delving deep into insight to understand who they are and what we can do for them and then translating that into action across their team and across the organisation.
