Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 - please do not submit candidates above this bracket.

Our Client is looking for an enthusiastic and multi-skilled individual to work with our Finance team. We encourage those with experience of financial or accounting responsibilities to apply!

As a Finance Specialist, you will thrive working in our Client’s fast-paced environment while continuously demonstrating your ability to maintain world class customer service.

You will display exceptionally high standards regardless of the relative priority of the task you are focused on. The ability to prioritise responsibilities and manage your time effectively comes naturally to you, ensuring efficiency with every detail you handle and see through to completion. Your ability to professionally communicate, both in writing and verbally, will shine through with every client interaction you have.

Through your attention to detail and the emphasis you place on exceptional service standards, discrepancies will be resolved appropriately, and incoming payments will be processed efficiently. You understand the impact exceptional service truly has on your own success as well as the strengthening of client relationships. You set the bar high and work daily to push the limits when it comes to service standards. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of Our Client.

Daily activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing financial and accounting related activities in a timely manner
  • Prepare finance journal entries and account reconciliation reports
  • Evaluate financial documents for correctness and completeness
  • Ensure financial and accounting reports are prepared in accordance with company/HMRC rules and regulations
  • Generate financial transaction records for collections, invoices, payments, expenses, revenues, etc. for future reference purposes
  • Address financial issues and inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation for financial operations and transactions
  • Perform month end closing activities such as expense accounting, account reconciliation, etc
  • Manage account payables and receivables activities
  • Assist in managing credit and collection activities
