We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team in one of our Children’s Home based in North London, a six bed, mixed gender children's home with a registered independent school attached.
About the Role
As Waking Night Residential Support Worker you will be involved in the direct day to day support of young people aged 11 to 17, joining in with activities, coaching on life skills, helping with homework and being a positive role model. You will also complete detailed records, write reports and assist with the general upkeep of the home. Key working for one or two of the young people will be expected.
Applicants should have:
- Experience of working with Young People, ideally in a residential setting.
- Have the ability to build genuine and trusting relationships with young people.
- Have the resilience to cope with challenging behaviour and circumstances.
- Be able to motivate young people and encourage their independence.
- Have high personal and professional standards.
- Flexibility to undertake shift working including weekends and bank holidays.

- Salary £21,634 to £22,664, depending on qualifications and experience, rising incrementally to £25,446 based on performance.
