I am currently recruiting for a leading Educational Institution based near Egham in Surrey for an Admissions Administrator.

This role is an integral part of a team focussed on providing an excellent service to those interested in attending the school at inquiry and application stage, and to those re-enrolling at the school. The role is specifically focussed on the administration of a range of processes relating to these families and students, including managing all student related UKVI related matters prior to, and during, enrollment at the school.


-Manage incoming inquiries related to admissions to the school, via email, phone and other means, within a team of administrators focussed on families' journeys to our school, and their re-enrollment each year

-Maintaining student admissions, inquiry and company information by accurately inputting and updating inquiries, and applications when other staff are absent

-Update colleagues across the admissions team with key information relating to inquiries and applications on a regular basis

-Providing regular and accurate reports relating to inquiries to the Director of Admissions and other staff, using the Veracross system wherever possible

-Manage the booking and confirming of family visits to the UK throughout the academic year

-Providing support in the admissions team's dealings with relocation consultants, educational agents and others aiding families' journeys to the UK

-Deal with admissions' department mail efficiently and appropriately each day, and co-ordinate taxi and courier bookings as appropriate

-Keep and update inventories of all admissions related documents, replenishing as appropriate during the academic year

-Assist with events such as open mornings and other admissions related activities throughout the year

-Assist with the school's re-enrollment processing and other enrollment related tasks as required and

-Deal with all aspects of student related UKVI visa processing, including application for annual CAS allocation, submission of the School's Basic Compliance Assessment, and all student and family related processing


-Attend all mandatory training sessions, taking responsibility to ensure training is up to date at all times and

-Represent the School in a professional manner at all times by providing excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors

Safeguarding responsibilities

-To know the identity of the School's Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy

-To proactively be alert to indicators of potential safeguarding issues and report these immediately in accordance with school procedure

-To be aware of the School's policies relating to Safeguarding and Child Protection, Code of Conduct and Health and Safety, and follow their requirements

-Attend training relating to Safeguarding of Children

-Engage in safe practice and professional conduct to safeguard children and mitigate against the potential for misunderstandings or situations being misconstrued

-Create safe and secure learning environments

Qualifications and experience

Strong experience of undertaking a range of administrative duties in a customer-focussed environment

Competent in use of Microsoft Office

Very strong customer service skills

Able to complete objectives to a fixed deadline

Empathetic to the requirements and concerns of customers from around the world
