New role** Customer Services Specialist - IT - North Bristol - £18,500

I am seeking an Customer Service Specialist to work in a well-established team for a market leading blue chip professional services company who are based in north Bristol.

The successful candidate will provide a high level of customer service to a range of internal customers, specifically supporting a bespoke IT application. Your role will be to ensure that all common problems with the software are solved or escalated to more senior members of the team where needed.

You will be responsible for logging calls and communicating all issues to other members of the IT team, using email and the phone as your primary methods of communication. You will provide support within a professional services environment, and you will be expected to become an expert in how to operate the software and how to solve basic, common queries with it on a daily basis. You will work closely with the end users to talk them through how the different features of the product work, and provide timely and helpful support to them where required. In addition to this, you will have responsibility for the route cause analysis of common software support issues, allowing you to prevent ongoing issues as well as fixing problems as they arise.

- Excellent general IT skills

This position will suit an individual who has excellent customer service skills and experience. Excellent communication skills are an essential prerequisite of this role, and of course full training will be provided on the product you will be supporting.
