1st/2nd line ICT Support Technician – (Berkshire / West London)
Full time position – up to £27,500 plus benefits and mileage allowance.

Our client, a leading Independent Schools Group are looking for an experienced 1st / 2nd line ICT Support Technician to provide day-to-day support for the staff and students at three school sites, in Berkshire and Ealing (West London).

As the ICT Support Technician, you will lead and manage all day-to-day support activities across the three schools, as agreed by the IT Network Manager or Service Delivery Manager.

You will also be required to liaise with the School staff and ICT Service Desk to identify, prioritise and resolve all ICT support and service requests.

The role is primarily based in Slough, Berkshire with weekly visits required to the other two schools.
You may also be required (on occasions) to support other schools/sites within the group, as requested by the Network Manager or Service Delivery Manager.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience supporting IT within a school or college and be able to drive, with access to a car or motorbike.

• Windows Server 2008 / 2012 r2 (Administration)
• Active Directory and Group Policy
• Windows 7 / 8 / 10
• MS Office 7 / 10 / 13 / 365 / suites
• LAN / WAN / VLAN / Wireless / DNS / DHCP
• VM Ware ESXi support
• SIMS.net Support
• plus excellent customer service skills and communication skills (written and verbal)

Desirable skills include :

• Experience of working in a service desk environment (2nd / 3rd line)
